Travelling to Shindig Weekender from in or around Bristol?
Make the journey part of your festival experience and go by bicycle. Red Fox Cycling, in partnership with Shindig Weekender, will be running a guided, supported bicycle ride from Bristol Temple Meads to Shindig Weekender on Thursday 24th May.
We’ll do all the planning and organising.
1. We’ll create the route and navigate
2. We’ll carry your bags and camping equipment to the festival in our support van
3. We’ll provide lunch, snacks and water to keep you nourished and hydrated
4. If you need us to, we’ll also bring you, your bags and your bike back to Bristol on the final Monday
All you need to do is turn up with your bags and a bike.
Leave the car at home. Make new friends, enjoy a stunning ride through the Somerset countryside and be kind to the environment.
The ride should suit everyone.
The route is 39 miles, we’ll have a fast and a more relaxed pace group so the ride should be suitable for everybody. If you prefer riding at your own pace, we’ll give you a GPX navigation file and smartphone-friendly turn-by-turn directions.
And Shindig Weekender will throw in exciting perks.
As a massive pat on the back, the lovely people at Shindig are subsidising the cost of the ride for a limited time only by almost 50%! Subsidised cost £17 (outward only) and £33 (with return coach and bike transfer). They’re also giving each rider a wristband which entitles the beholder to luxurious, free hot showers all weekend. And most exciting of all. Shindig are giving cyclists access to the festival site on Thursday, 1 day earlier than the masses! So cyclists get to start the weekend early 🙂
We look forward to seeing you.
