Travel
Shindig Festival is committed to lowering its environmental impact. We’d love all our Shindig family to get on board with this ethos and to consider their how their own actions have a direct impact on the festival as a whole.
We strongly encourage car shares, use the Facebook event page to join up with others in your area. Whether you’re looking for a ride or offering a spare seat or two. With the average 100 mile car journey leading to over 20kg of CO2 being produced, you have the potential to reduce the festival’s carbon footprint considerably. It’s also a fun way to travel, meet fellow revellers and greatly reduces congestion in the local area.
