The Playground is literally that, a huge area just for kids, there are tons of free kid’s activities available from 9am until 5pm daily with performances and shows throughout.
Bouncy Tyre Play
A Creative Partnership: Made from Scratch × Root & Shoot
Experience the thrill of the “Wobbly Web,” a fully recyclable play system engineered entirely from repurposed bike tyres and wheels. This interactive installation invites you to join forces with master playground builders and playworkers to help construct a massive, climbable structure from the ground up. Beyond the building, you can get hands-on with a “make and take” craft project using tyres and tubes, or test your agility with a rotating schedule of challenges and games hosted on the structure throughout each day.
Poco Drom
Intergalactic Punk-Pop for Families
Step into a galactic sensory explosion with Poco Drom, the electronic duo that blends fuzzy guitars and heavy synths with raw punk energy. Often described as “The Flaming Lips for kids,” their music draws inspiration from 90s vibes, the animal kingdom, and a mission for positive cosmic change. Their live performances are legendary, featuring a chaotic mix of confetti, foam, bubbles, giant aliens, and squirrels. As they eye world domination in 2026, they remind every festival-goer of their three core pillars: drink more water, eat more bananas, and spread more love.
Kids Neon Rave
Light Up the Night
It is time to glow up. Kids, grab your grown-ups and head straight into the Neon Rave Cave for a high-octane dance party. We encourage you to wear your most luminous, flashy gear as you take over the dance floor in style. Our judges will be watching closely, and yes, spectacular prizes will be awarded to those who bring the most energy and flair to the rave.
The Dandelion Clock Fairy
Wishes for a Greener Future
Keep an eye out for the Dandelion Clock Fairy as she wanders through the festival, inviting guests to pause for a moment of reflection. This roaming, interactive act uses the magic of storytelling and bubbles to collect wishes for a kinder, more sustainable world. By blending climate consciousness with whimsical play, she weaves individual hopes into a shared sense of community care and possibility, creating quiet moments of joy amidst the festival bustle.
The Unbelievable Bureau of Investigation (UBI)
Dux and his team return in full “shindiggery” mode. Expect playful shenanigans and drama-based interactions that use loose-parts play to celebrate the unbridled wonder of childhood.
Super Pirates
Prepare for high-energy, free-flow entertainment. The Super Pirates bring a whirlwind of inflatables, pop-up discos, and secret places to hide, hop, and spin. It is pure, barrels-of-fun energy for both kids and adults.
Colourtown
Step inside a literal rainbow. Colourtown is an immersive world dedicated to the intersection of community and creativity, offering a vibrant space where everyone is invited to add their own splash of color to the festival landscape.
