Shindig Festival - 23rd - 26th May 2024

So it's 10 years of Shindig in 2024 and to celebrate we have invited some huge collectives to join us. With a bit of Funk, Disco, House, Drum & Bass and Jungle - expect something for everyone in one of these takeovers.

To start we have one of the biggest funk record labels to dominate the UK, Jalapeño Records will be taking over the Dig Inn with a star studded line up of funk heroes playing live and spinning tunes all day. Also on the funk tip, Father Funk is back with his Church Of Love and streaming collective the Global Funk Fam will be in attendance.

If house is your thing then you are in for a right treat. New bloods Boogie Cafe Records and Midnight Riot Records will be bringing some huge house(hold) names with them. Finally, Shindig wouldn’t be Shindig without Mr Terry Farley who will be bringing his Faith Foundations collective for a monster takeover in Shimmy.

If you love the beat of a 174bpm drum then 2024 is the year for you. Not only do we have legends Jungle Mania making their Shindig debut with a line up that is out of this world but new heroes and DJ Mag’s “Vital Labels of 2023” the trend setting Over / Shadow are coming with a massive late night takeover.

Let’s not forget our extended family of friends and legends are back in their trusted spots… Including Mark & Nikki Archer with their Altern 8 / NLA Takeover. Not sure how they do it every year but you won’t believe who they got joining them to go b2b2 with Mr Archer next May. The Hong Kong Ping Pong Club is back in the Nightclub and you know they know how to party.

Benny, Lexy and the crew at Old Mans Corner will be back on warming things up in the Dig Inn and cracking open the first ciders of the weekend - always one to get you in the Shindig spirit and we wouldn’t do it without them.

Get Comedy is set to bring our biggest comedy line up to date with a host of comedians to make you laugh even with the most savage of hangovers.

If you’re still with us, Shed Of Dread will be kicking it in Tutti Frutti, the mighty Daddy Nature aka Rompa and his Reggae Shack are back with their trademark world music bass vibes plus Bristol’s finest psychedelic-acidy-misfits Luke & Simon will be taking you on a late night journey as The Back Room DJs.

Oh and some bloke called JFB - you might have heard of that turntable wizard will be back showing all you DJs you need to try harder with his Jammin’ Funk Breaks showcase in Ghetto Funk.

You know what to do, assemble your crew and join us for our 10 year celebration!

See you in the fields!
