Last ever Shindig Festival

Author: Jon

Shindig is a festival that has been on my radar for a few years now – being on the May bank holiday weekend however there always seemed to be plans that meant I could never make it down. So when Jessi hit me up earlier in the year asking if I’d like to go and do the review on her behalf I jumped at the opportunity, and having now been I can safely say that it was worth the wait

Shindig has always had green initiatives as a core value and will continue to develop these practices and with your input and help Shindig will continue to grow as sustainably as possible. We are all in this together. We run what we can direct from the sun via solar rigs such as our kids and healing areas , our band stand and Speakers forum as well as the circus finale . The few generators we have to use all run on HVO

Kids Kingdom is literally that, a huge kingdom just for kids! There are tons of free kid’s activities available from 9am until 5pm daily with performances and shows throughout. Also kid-friendly films will be shown in the Cinema until 10pm. Activities include: Breakdancing, Graffiti, MCing, Building a climbling frame, Ringworld giant inflatables, drumming, climbing wall, puppet show, giant marble run and loads more.

Shindig Festival is proud to host Cushy, a holistic sanctuary where equality, love, culture and inclusion is weaved into a deep connection to nature. A place to find space, to nurture and enrich the experience of your weekend with a little nourishment for you as a whole.
