The team of directors have all got children ranging from 3 years old to upwards of 20 so this is partly why there is so much for kids and teens to do because their kids need entertaining!
Cushy Holistic Sanctuary
Shindig Festival is proud to host Cushy, a holistic sanctuary where equality, love, culture and inclusion is weaved into a deep connection to nature. A place to find space, to nurture and enrich the experience of your weekend with a little nourishment for you as a whole.
Touaregs
Our spacious touareg tents are beautifully dressed with all the comforts that you need to enjoy your stay at the festival. Sleeps up to 8 people.
The Playground
The Playground is literally that, a huge area just for kids! There are tons of free kid’s activities available from 9am until 5pm daily.
Yurts
A range of beautiful furnished wooden frame yurts, sleeping from 2 to 3 people.

‘A VIBRANT, SUN-DRENCHED AND ARTFULLY SOUNDTRACKED WEEKEND’ Those that know, will know: festival-going with the family in tow can be a tricky thing to navigate. Will the grown ups get to see any music? Will the little ones be prized away from the craft tent without a meltdown or a bribe? Why didn’t I think of bringing a babysitter?
Circus & Caberet
Shindig isn't all about the music, dancing, fancy dress, food and drink, camping and hanging with friends. Expect lots of random performances from Interstellar Circus from drag queens, disco divas to sword swallowers. And the weekend wouldn’t be the same without a heart-in-your-mouth performance from high-wire walker Chris Bullzini. Or Pirates of the Carabina with their raucous, ingenious and insane talent.
Festival Kidz Review
One of my twelve year olds exclaimed “This is the friendliest place I’ve been to in a long time! I love it here” and the whole family agreed.
Crafty Corner
Join us at Crafty Corner and let your imagination soar! This vibrant space is a haven for artists of all ages and skill levels. Whether you're a seasoned crafter or a curious beginner, you'll find plenty to inspire you.
