Travel & Location

Shindig Festival 2020 will be taking place at Dillington Park Estate near Yeovil.

By car…

This is the easiest travel option for families, the site is 25 mins from the M5 and right next to the A303, so roads are quick and easy. Signs and marshals will direct you on the correct route. Leave plenty of time and travel at off peak times if possible. Gates open at midday Thursday, this is a great time to aim for as you will miss work and school traffic. Or later, gates close at 10pm again missing peak time local traffic.

Top Tip: don’t follow your SAT Nav once you see a Shindig Festival signs the route will divert you to the best way, go on, see who can spot one first!

Public Transport…

The nearest train stations are Taunton and Yeovil, public bus services run between these stations and Ilminster. Please check train and bus timetables. There will be a pay onboard shuttle bus service available between Ilminster and the festival site.

NOTE: Crewkerne has a train station but we do not advise using it as the public transport is few and far between to get you to Ilminster.
